Our Principles

The principles are our True North.

Having fun on bikes

Notice we didn’t say “mountain bikes?” We want to include any kind of riding and racing the Student Athletes want to tackle (NICA MTB, non-NICA MTB, cyclocross, heck, even road riding)! We want to partner with other youth cycling activities in Dayton and around the region.

Inclusivity/Equity/Respect

Everybody rides! We want to help all Student Athletes; fast riders, slow riders, and everyone in-between improve their cycling skills. This fundamental allows us to proudly wear the team jersey in any cycling event, whether it was a NICA event, an Ohio Mountain Bike Championship (OMBC) race, a Do Indiana Off Road (DINO) race, an Ohio Valley Cyclocross (OVCX) race, etc. You want to race it? Its your team, go for it, year-round.

Community

We cultivate a positive environment. Everyone can ride, everyone can race. Through this, we hope to build on our existing community while expanding engagement in other youth cycling activities across Southwest Ohio.

Safety

We utilize NICA resources to vet, train, and organize our coaches. These coaching credentials are valid for the full year, and we’ll use them year-round.
